This is one regular pitstop whenever I visit Dubai. Mani is such a splendid host and I must place on record Suhail's unobtrusive attention which made our dining experience exemplary. Calicut Paragon is an absolute foodie's paradise taking you back to flavours of God's own country. We relished the dishes we sampled today particularly the spicy pan fried chicken, chicken varattiyadhu, porotta, beef fry and the quintessential mutton biriyani. The management should ensure better food availability until late night, as many customers come in expecting a full menu. Also, the service experience needs improvement—waiters should be trained to maintain a pleasant and welcoming attitude, even during busy hours. HOWEVER, this place is SO PACKED, I wish it *were* hidden (the food took a while). My family doesn't eat spicy so if you don't either - no problem: there are plenty of non-spicy seafood options with all kinds of breads - all delicious! I'm a sucker for non-alcoholic beverages - here you'll discover some of the most tasty drinks that are healthy and not too sweet.
